Apex Ascend are the most reliably designed and well thought tower style units in existence.  ##### [Safety Foremost! Safety is at the heart of everything we do.](https://www.theapexgroupusa.com/apex-ascend-long-stroke-pumping-unit#collapse1-widget_1676992642502) Safety is at the heart of everything we do. At Apex we go beyond pure equipment design, the safety factors or minimum industry requirements. Our focus safe operation from installation, to production, to routine maintenance.  Apex Units come standard with not so typical safety implementations, - Engineered lifting locations. - **Advanced Braking** - Hoist-able Counterweights - No binding over to install weights. - Rack and Pinion Indexing system, to back unit away from well-head. ##### [Built Right! Design Philosophies, Manufacturing and Material Selection Matter!](https://www.theapexgroupusa.com/apex-ascend-long-stroke-pumping-unit#collapse2-widget_1676992642502) **Apex design philosophies consider safety through out the entire process, as well as reliability and overall productivity.** **All Apex Pumping Units are designed to exceed API standards,** - Power Transmission - Structural Elements - Use of vibration resistant fastening systems in critical areas. **Apex material selections are superior,** - Fabricated Structure exceeds mechanical properties of ASTM A36 steels.  - Rotating power transmission elements are produced from proprietary steel blends that far exceed the competition.  **Apex Manufacturing,** - Use of vacuum casting processes to reduce foundry defects through out . - Near Net Forgings, where it matters most.  - Manufacturing processes that yield gear quality ratings higher than any of the competition. - In house heat treating and full metallurgical control systems.    These are just a few of the things at Apex we do better than anyone else. ##### [Lubrication! To often lubricants are an after thought, not at Apex.](https://www.theapexgroupusa.com/apex-ascend-long-stroke-pumping-unit#collapse3-widget_1676992642502) Very rarely will you find a engineered piece of equipment that has lubricants themselves as a primary element of consideration or design factor.  Apex has partnered with Schaeffer's Oil Company to integrate lubricant and lubrication engineering into the design cycles for our equipment.  What does this mean? - More reliability, and reduced operating cost related to break downs.  - Less oil changes and greasing.  - Lower electrical consumption. - Greater protection during overload events.  - Apex Ascend units that can operate at less than 1spm.  ![schaeffer-logo](https://www.theapexgroupusa.com/hubfs/schaeffer-logo.svg)   Apex Conventional Units ## Send us your enquiries.
